Updated: Jan 11

Dec 13, 2025, Little Rock, Arkansas – IGN members recently met with Clint O’Neal, Executive Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, to discuss Arkansas’s growing relationship with South Korea in trade and investment. The conversation focused on strengthening economic ties and advancing initiatives aimed at attracting more Korean companies to the state.

During the meeting, Clint O’Neal presented a certificate formally welcoming IGN members as Arkansas Ambassadors, recognizing their role in supporting international business development and fostering global partnerships. This designation reflects the state’s commitment to building trusted relationships with leaders who help promote Arkansas as a destination for international investment.

Discussions highlighted Arkansas’s competitive advantages, including its central U.S. location, strong logistics infrastructure, skilled workforce, and business-friendly policies. Participants explored strategies to position Arkansas as an attractive hub for Korean manufacturers, technology firms, and global suppliers seeking to expand their U.S. presence.

These initiatives create mutual benefits—Korean companies gain access to growth opportunities in a supportive market, while Arkansas benefits from job creation, capital investment, and expanded trade. Most importantly, this collaboration underscores the value of strengthening U.S.–Korea economic ties to drive sustainable economic growth and long-term prosperity.
